How to Flash Your USB

Open the Chromebook Recovery Utility.

Click the settings gear, then select "Use local image".

Select your shim file, identify your USB/SD drive/card, and start the writing process.

This can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes depending on the speed of your USB/SD drive/card.

Once it's done, you can go back.
