How to Flash Your USB

Open the Chromebook Recovery Utility.

Click the settings gear, then select "Use local image".

Select your shim file, identify your USB drive, and start the writing process.

This can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes depending on the speed of your USB drive.

Once it's done, you can go back.
